DCC Confirm Independent Supplier Day

The DCC has recently confirmed that the first Independent Supplier Day will be taking place on Wednesday 14th September in London.  The conference which runs from 10am will be held at:

America Square Conference Centre

1 America Square

17 Crosswall

London

EC3N 2LB

The conference is aimed specifically at Independent Suppliers who have an obligation to be live with the DCC by October 2017. Datamere would strongly urge all Independent Suppliers to attend the conference in order to understand the obligations which will be coming into effect.

A networking event will run from 3pm (after the conference), which will allow suppliers to talk to managed service providers about the options available for complying with the DCC.

Datamere will be available throughout the day and during the networking event to explain our plans and how we foresee GENUS© interacting with the DCC via a DCC Adaptor Solution. Ofgem Publish Guide to Entering Energy Market

The Gas and Electricity Regulator, Ofgem, has recently published a simple guide aimed at new entrants to the energy market. The guide which can be downloaded below explains some of the processes that new entrants need to follow in order to obtain a licence and become a supplier.
